I would highly recommend Megan. We booked a session for maternity pics and I am so grateful we did! Megan was incredibly professional, great communication (when booking/ scheduling, even gave me recs for outfit choices, gave great direction during the shoot- while letting us have fun, etc). We've never taken professional photos before and I am known for taking an awful candid pic so I didn't have any high expectations. Well...I was blown away! She did a wonderful job- I literally cried when I she sent them over. Megan made us feel incredibly comfortable & took beautiful pictures of our growing family! Hey! I'm Megan.
Founder of Megan Watkins Photography. I was born and raised in Orange County, CA and still am blessed to live here.
I married my best friend, Shawn, seven years ago in the mountains, overlooking the lakes of June Lake, CA (we made a memorable entrance from the ski lift. Ask me about it sometime!) We went through IVF to have our son Jaxon, our daughter Oakley, and her twin Angel sister, Peyton. [I am a proud IVF & NICU mama!]
When I am not shooting, you can find me going on hikes with my family, at the lake, in the mountains or desert camping, or just lounging on the couch watching reality tv.
Having gone through the wedding planning process myself, and now having a family of my own, I understand the importance of having these tangible memories of your loved ones. I’m here to help you not only capture those precious memories, but also help you see that there is beauty in these chaotic seasons.
